Ben as a companion/pet
As Ben joined us from a farm background he has never been housetrained, though he would love to be indoors, right now we do not have the time to watch him as required for house training.
Ben is easy going, (just look at his face). All the dogs love him even the males. He is respected by all who meet him.
Ben as a working dog
As a working dog Ben exudes potential and Class. He is great to handle a good listner and very fast, wasting no time doing his job, he has lovely turns and pace and sheep trust and respect him. Purchased at the end of Feb 2010, we are still in the learning each other's way phase of our work, and he is testing me as much as I am testing him.
We will compete as much as possible this summer culminating at the Scottish Nationals.
Ben has recently sired his second litter of puppies with Applerigg Fizz. An eighteen month old daughter of Ben made over £3000.00 at last summers Skipton Sheepdog Sale.
We are expecting great things from BEN both on the trials field and as a stud dog.
