DALE as a companion/pet
Dale is a super companion, sensitive and reliable. Loves to be brushed and even better just to curl up on the couch next to me.
He has the most amazing "off switch" I have ever known.
DALE as a working dog
Dale as a working dog is one of the best I have ever had, he is very pliable, easy to place just where you need him. A great listner with valuable feel for his sheep.
He is very clever and can work things out for himself.
Dale started off as a wonder shedder, and can hold a single. He is a good reliable lambing dog (first season).
Driving on the road and covering escape routes is a pleasure with this dog.
Outruns and finding his sheep are natural to him.

Dale is now a Trials Winner. Winning the Lintrathen Local and being second in the Lintrathen Open Trial in Septemeber 2012
He has taught me so much in the last six months about understanding dogs.
This dog is a one in a million for me.
Breagh at four months. First time on sheep.
She is by Astra Dale (who is holding up the sheep for me) out of an unregistered bitch Mist.
I am very pleased with the results of this mating and hope to register Breagh (gaelic for Beautiful) on Merit with the ISDS.
